The Gargunnock Community Trust contracted McLaren Plant to upgrade a 350m path leading out to the west of the village. The end result has been universally welcomed by the local community. At every turn, throughout the project, McLaren’s team were excellent to work with. They kept to the agreed timetable and the quality of work was perfect for the setting. If issues arose then their team showed willingness to respond positively and timeously which made my role as the Trust’s project manager significantly much less stressful than it could have been. Several reports from local residents during the construction phase indicated that McLaren’s staff were courteous and responsive to any queries. Based on our experience the Gargunnock Trust would certainly be willing to offer McLaren Plant the opportunity to bid for future projects.

McLaren Plant Ltd were appointed by East Dunbartonshire Council to undertake the installation of new perimeter ball-stop fencing around sports pitches at two Primary Schools within East Dunbartonshire’s school estate. The works were delivered to programme and under the projected budget while maintaining high levels of quality and workmanship. The entire team at McLaren Plant displayed an ability to work with EDC’s Asset Management team to overcome issues encountered during the construction phase with minimal, or no, impact to the projects programme and quality. The projects were undertaken within the playgrounds of operational Schools which required the careful planning and implementation of additional Health & Safety measures to ensure the works were completed safely on site.
