Drainage is of vital importance to any building project. Ensuring water does not collect or flood a property, while likewise ensuring it does not create a surge from run-off requires experience and knowhow. At McLaren Plant, we have many years experience in this field, and will ensure your site manages its water effectively.
It is important to consider drainage when constructing a new car park or commercial paved area. The area should slope away from a building wherever possible, or into the same drains which deal with roof water. Soakaways may be necessary for large areas of tarmac and paving, to ensure run-off doesn’t cause flooding elsewhere.
